New Words From Wizard of OZ

Scarecrow: an object in the shape of a person that a person put in a field to frighten birds away.

Pail: a metal or wooden container with a handle, used for carrying liquids.




Gingham: a cotton cloth that has pattern of small white and  coloured squares on it.




Frock: a  woman's or girl's dress.






Settee: a long comfortable seat with a back and usually with arms, for more than one person to sit on.
